Unionport Bridge
Abstract
View of Unionport Bridge over Westchester Creek. The Bronx Board of Trade advocated that the bridge either be reconstructed or replaced to deal with the increased flow of traffic and congestion into the area especially as a result of the opening of the New York World's Fair in Queens. What appears to be an excursion boat is on the right. St. Joseph's School for the Deaf is in the distance, as is Throggs Neck community to the right.
