Back caption: The entrance, Botanical Gardens, Bronx Park, New York City. Bronx Park lies on both sides of the Bronx River, between Williamsbridge and West Farms. It comprises a total area of 662 acres, 250 of which have been given to botanical garden and 261 to a zoological park. Both institutions are corporations managed by trustees and occupying their sites by an arrangement with the City. The Botanical Garden is open daily from 9 to 5, admission free.
