Lantern slide depicting the Boston Massacre that took place in March 1770. The massacre was seen as a key event in helping to galvinize the colonial public to the patriot cause. The lantern slides were a gift of Mr. Frederic W. Thomas given to GSMT on May 25, 1928 and were used in a lecture on the American Revolution called 'One Flag. One Country, One People'.
