A General Society member for fifty-one years, his additional service as an officer included Second Vice President (1912), Vice President (1913), and duty as an Inspector of Election (1926-1938). Mr. Harrington's further participation in Society activities such as with the Auditing Committee (1891-1993), Pension Committee, (1905-1911, 1917-1938), Finance Committee (1915) and Membership Committee (1916) summarize a total of forty-eight years of faithful service.
