This black and white postcard shows a falls [presumably a dam] and spillway on the Mohawk River at Lock 7 which is not in the picture. The canal [presumably Erie] is in the foreground along with grasses and trees. The terrain in the postcard shows steep, mostly wooded, hills that go down to the river.
