Description
A scene on the Hudson River looking north from the Congress Street Bridge. The city of Troy, N.Y. is viewable on the horizon and on the east bank. Two side wheelers are docked on the east side of the river; two commercial signs posted on buildilngs read "Stewart Stoves" and "Fogarty's Furniture & Carpets". There are two tugboats in the middle of the river and apparently a dredge. One tug appears to be anchored and facing south while the other is steaming towards the eastern bank of the river. There is a bridge in the background that connects the eastern and western banks of the river. The western bank is covered with trees while the eastern bank has docking areas and commercial and business facilities.
